Cucumber Orchid

Small epiphyte or epilith with creeping, branching rhizomes, mat-forming. Leaves ellipsoid, to 2.5 cm long, to 4 cm wide, fleshy, warty, prostrate. Flowers 2-10, to 2 cm long, not widely opening, cream, yellowish or green with purplish striations; spring to summer. Sepals and petals narrow and pointed. Labellum distinctly 3-lobed, cream with purple markings.Syn. Dendrobium cucumerinum Lindl.
