Perennial tufted, rhizomatous herb to about 2 m; stems smooth basally, hairy above. Leaves alternate, elliptic, not tapering basally, hairy below. Inflorescence many flowered, branches numerous, erect to drooping. Flowers funnel-shaped; summer.Tepals to 18 mm long, white to green, hairy outside, toothed.
