Perennial herb from a rhizome. Stems to 60 cm, flowers in drooping umbels at shoot tips. Leaves oblong, cylindrical. Flowers 1-3, spreading, to 4 cm wide; spring to summer.Tepals white, tips greenish. Fruit blue-black.
