Oxalis hirta L.

Variable, erect or spreading bulbous, hairy perennial herbs with branched leafy stems. Leaves more or less stalkless with 3 linear to oblong or obovate leaflets, each 1-1.5 cm long and to 3 mm or so wide, notched at the tip. Flowers solitary, violet or purple, rarely white or yellow, the petals hairy outside; autumn.
