Fairy Wax Flower

Variable medium shrub to about 3 m tall, the branches warty. Leaves to 2 cm long, 1 cm wide, narrowly to broadly obovate, stalkless, flat or folded, warty below, aromatic. Flowers axillary, pink at least at first, about 2 cm wide; winter to spring.

Flowers double, white, the petals in 3 rows. Reported as first found at Bendigo, Vic. Listed by acra on provisional list of 1966 but also listed as early as 1950. ['Flore Plena', 'Semmens Double' and other names]
