Blue Trumpet Vine

Climbing shrub. Leaves to 20 cm long, ovate to elliptic, roughly hairy, margin toothed or lobed. Flowers solitary and axillary or occasionally in clusters. Calyx cup-like. Petal tube to about 7 cm long, violet; summer.

T. laurifolia Lindl. from India is similar but has narrower leaves and flower stalks about 2 cm (not 3-5 cm) long.
