Spreading evergreen perennial herb rooting at the nodes. Leaves ovate, cordate at the base, to 9 cm long, blistered and silvery above, purplish below. Flower clusters in terminal spikes. Flowers to 1 cm or so long, white. [H. colorata (Bl.) Hallier f.]
