Hebe cupressoides (Hook.f.) Cockayne

A densely branched, rounded shrub, sometimes to 1.5 m or so tall. Branchlets erect, green to waxy-blue. Leaves scale-like, closely pressed to the branchlets, to about 1.5 mm long, giving the plant a conifer-like appearance. Flower clusters with 6-8 flowers. Flowers pale blue-violet.

A dwarf form growing to about 45 cm tall.
