Accepted name: Veronica arenaria
Woody shrub to about 1m tall, dying back each year. Leaves linear or with irregular linear lobes, 2-5.5 cm long, 1-3 mm wide, stalkless. Flower clusters mostly opposite, of 50-100 flowers. Flowers bright violet-blue, spring to autumn. Fruit capsules obovoid to about 6 mm long. [Veronica arenaria Benth.]
