Tree Tobacco

Spindly shrub to 5 m or so tall. Leaves ovate to elliptic, mostly to 15 cm long but sometimes longer, tough and waxy-blue, stalk to 5 cm or so long. Calyx to about 1.5 cm long, Corolla to 4 cm long, tubular to salver-shaped, yellow-green, autumnflowering. Fruit more or less ovoid, about 1 cm long.

Argentina

Widely naturalised in warm-temperate regions and most states of Australia and hybridises with native species.
