Bush Violet

A perennial to about 1 m tall, generally grown as smaller forms and often treated as a bedding annual. Leaves ovate-elliptic, to 8 cm long, entire. Flowers axillary with a swollen calyx. Corolla tube to about 5 cm long, generally blue to violet with a white eye. Fruit capsule to 2 cm wide.
