Evening Trumpet Flower

Evergreen climber. Leaves lanceolate, to 10 cm long, glossy above, narrowing at the base. Flowers bright yellow, about 3-4 cm long on unusual scaly stalks, fragrant; spring to summer. Fruit 2 cm or so long with a short beak.
