Senna artemisioides (DC.) Randell

Silver Cassia

Variable shrub 1-3 m tall. Leaflets in 1-8 pairs, hair variable, 1 gland between the lowest pair of leaflets. Flowers with petals hairless on the back. Fertile stamens 10, all more or less equal. Fruit pods flat, 4-8 cm long, 0.5-1 cm wide, without pith.

This species is now divided into 10 subspecies, with the former C. nemophila J.Vogel, Punty Bush (Desert Cassia), split among 4 of these.

All mainland states.
