Rose Evening Primrose

Evening-flowering perennial herb to 0.5 m tall, stems spreading or upright. Leaves on stem 1-3 cm long, oblanceolate to elliptic, 2-5 cm long,1.5 cm wide,more or less entire to wavy-toothed and lobed; stalked. Flowers in upper leaf axils stalked, petals 0.5-1.2 cm long, rose to rose-purple; Aug-Mar. Fruit a capsule narrowed at the base, 8-10 mm long, ribbed.

Naturalised in Qld, NSW and Vic.
