Fragrant Evening Primrose

Evening-flowering, more or less stemless perennial herb with a woody base. Leaves oblanceolate to narrowly elliptic, 2.5-10 cm long, entire to irregularly toothed or lobed. Flowers with petals 2.5-5 cm long, white. Fruit capsule to about 2 cm long, warty on the angles.

N America (Rockies and plains).
