Oenothera acaulis Cav.

Dandelion-leaved Evening Primrose

Evening-flowering stemless or short-stemmed perennial. Leaves oblanceolate, 3-20 cm long, widest at the tip and with backwardly pointing lobes appearing rather like the leaves of a dandelion. Flowers with petals 1.5-3.5 cm long. Fruit capsule obovoid to about 1.5 cm long with 4 wings.
