Fuchsia denticulata Ruiz & Pav.

Erect or scrambling shrubs to small trees. Young shoots hairy at first. Leaves in 3s or 4s, to about 15 cm long and 6 cm wide, elliptic to lanceolate, margin with small teeth. Flowers in axillary clusters towards the tips of the branches, the tube 3-5 cm long. Sepals rosy pink with green tips. Petals orange to bright red. Fruit ellipsoid, green to purplish. Syn. F. serratifolia Ruiz &Pav.
