Juniper Myrtle

Erect shrub to small tree about 10 m tall with drooping branchlets and fibrous grey to brown bark. Leaves narrow, 0.5-1.5 cm long,1.5 mm wide, concave, rigid and softpointed, dark green above slightly paler below, aromatic when crushed. Leaf stalk 1 mm long. Flowers terminal, white with brown or reddish centre; mostly spring and summer. Fruit capsules in clusters of 6-10.
