Leucospermum vestitum (Lam.) Rourke

Shrub to 2.5 m tall with a single stem. Leaves oblong to ovate, 5-7.5 cm long,1-3 cm wide, tip entire or with 2-4 teeth. Flower clusters ovoid to spherical, mostly solitary, 7-9 cm wide. Flowers 3.5 cm long, orange at first, becoming carmine.
