Leucospermum praecox Rourke

Shrub 2-3 m tall with a single stem. Leaves obovate, mostly 4-7 cm long, 1.5-3 cm wide, with 6-11 teeth at the tip. Flower clusters spherical, about 6 cm wide, stalkless, up to 4 per branch. Flowers about 3 cm long, yellow, becoming orange.
