Leucospermum patersonii Philips

Shrub or small tree to 4 m tall. Leaves oblong, 5-9 cm long, 3-5 cm wide, cordate or eared at the base, tip with 3-8 teeth. Flower clusters ovoid to spherical, 8-9 cm wide, mostly solitary, occasionally 2-3 together, stalked. Flowers 2.5-3 cm long, orange to crimson.

S Africa (Cape).

Tree-like habit; leaves broadly oblong, with 3-8 teeth.
