Leucospermum glabrum Phillips

Rounded shrub with single stem. Leaves obovate, tapering to the base, 8-12 cm long, 3-5 cm wide with 7-14 teeth at the tip. Flower clusters 7-9 cm wide, mostly solitary, rarely 2-3 together, hardly stalked. Flowers 3.5 cm long, bright orange to carmine.

S Africa (Cape).

Leaves large, obovate, bright green, hairless, with 7-14 teeth; mature stems hairless; bracts acuminate and bent back.
