Leucadendron coniferum (L.) Meisn.

Shrub or small tree to 4 m tall. Leaves narrowly oblanceolate, twisted at the base, to about 8 cm long, less than 1 cm wide. Female flower heads about 2.7 cm long, 1.5 cm wide.

S Africa.

L. eucalyptifolium is similar but has a leaf with a short, hard, blunt point.
