Broadleaf Drumsticks

Shrub to 2 m tall, sometimes small and dense. Leaves simple, linear or 2-3-lobed or divided, to about 10 cm long, without a defined leaf stalk. Flower clusters mostly terminal, spherical, up to 3-4 cm wide. Flowers 1-1.5 cm long, yellow, hairless except for tuft of hair at the tips of the segments; winter to spring and early summer. Fruit cones spherical, to about 2.5 cm wide.
