Meisner's Banksia

Shrub to 2 m tall but generally smaller. Leaves crowded, entire, bent back on the stems, 4-6 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, linear to narrowly elliptic; margins curled under so lower surface unseen. Flower cone 2-3 cm long, about 5 cm wide. Perianth about 8 mm long, yellow-brown; Apr-Aug. Style yellow. Fruit mostly 1.5-2 cm long.
