Caley's Banksia

Shrub to 2 m tall with grey, fissured bark. Leaves alternate, narrowly obovate, mostly 5-15 cm long; margin with many needle-pointed teeth, wavy. Flower cone cylindrical, 5-9 cm long, 7 cm wide, pendent. Perianth about 3 cm long, creamy pink to deep pinkish red, with a cream base and style; Oct-Dec. Fruits 3.5-4 cm long.
