Sweat Bush

Prostrate to erect shrub to 2 m tall, developing a lignotuber. Leaves wedge-shaped to 2 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide with mostly 5 lobes and a silvery covering of hair; stalk short. Flowers deep pinkish red, paler towards the base; mostly Aug-Nov.

Grown for the attractive foliage and known to hybridise, mostly with A. sericeus.
