Shrubs or small trees to 7 m or so tall with branches reddish at first, often drooping at the ends. Phyllodes linear-lanceolate to oblanceolate, 5-20 cm long, 0.5-1.5 cm wide, mostly widest above the middle, margins pale, glands on the upper margin near the base. Flower clusters of 6-15 heads. Flower heads globular, of 20-40 flowers, pale yellow. Fruit pods linear, 4-12 cm long, 6-8 mm wide.
