Sphaerolobium vimineum Sm.

Leafless Globe Pea

Shrub to over 0.5 m tall, with cylindrical stems. Leaves absent, or few and about 5 mm long, linear-lanceolate. Flowers in a long raceme; spring. Flowers 2-3 together. Corolla about 5 mm long, yellow, sometimes with red markings. Fruit pod more or less spherical, 3-5 mm wide, with a long stalk; seeds about 2 mm wide.
