Large-leaf Bush Pea

Erect shrub to 3 m tall. Leaves alternate, obovate, base tapering, 0.5-4 cm long, to 1 cm wide; tip mostly truncate and with a bristly apex, upper surface darker than the lower. Flowers dense and terminal, with overlapping bracts. Flowers mostly 1-1.5 cm long. Ovary hairy. Fruit pod about 6 mm long, flattened.
