Red Kennedy Pea

Rusty-haired prostrate or climbing herb. Leaflets ovate to obovate or roundish, 4-12 cm long, 3-8 cm wide. Flowers 2-12 together; late winter to early spring. Corolla 3-4 cm long, dark red to purplish. Fruit pod flattened, 5-10 cm long.
