Prostrate trailing herb. Leaflets roundish, 0.5-2.5 cm long, margins wavy, lower surface hairy; stipules cordate. Flowers 1-2 together on a stalk 1-3 cm long. Corolla 1.5-2 cm long, scarlet, the standard with a yellow spot at the base. Fruit pod 3-5 cm long, hairy, with 5-8 seeds.
