Prostrate grey-hairy shrub with trailing stems. Leaves alternate, ovate to elliptic or roundish, to about 6 cm long, 5 cm wide, margins slightly wavy. Flowers axillary or lateral, 1 or 2 together, 3-4.5 cm long; mostly winter to spring. Standard yellow, suffused red and with red veins and a greenish yellow mark at the base. Keel red. Fruit pod oblong, about 1 cm long.
