Botterboom

Stem succulent, to 2 m tall, with a papery trunk and few branches. Leaves alternate, at least towards the tip, 5-10 cm long, 3-5 cm wide, blunt. Flowers in branched clusters, hairy, pendulous, red with yellow stripes.

SW Africa and Cape.
