Tacitus bellus Moran & Meyran

Succulent herb with leaves in basal rosettes 3-8 cm wide. Leaves to about 3.5 cm long, 3 cm wide, dark grey-green, blunt but with a sharp point at the tip, margin reddish brown. Flowers to over 3 cm wide on stalks to 2 cm long, magenta to bright red, stamens with prominent yellow anthers; spring to summer.
