Sempervivum arachnoideum L.

Cobweb Houseleek

Variable plant, forming numerous ball-like green to red rosettes mostly about 2 cm wide. Leaves about 1-1.5 cm long with fine cobweb-like woolly strands between the apices. Flowers on stems to 10 cm or so long, 9-12-parted, red; summer. Plants are available in a range of colours and rosette sizes.
