Leaves to about 20 cm long, more or less ovate, mostly bluntly toothed, tip rounded, base tapering to a winged stalk that sheathes the base, more or less hairy below. Flowers 2-16 in terminal clusters, petals yellow with an orange mark at the base of each lobe, fragrant; spring to summer.
