Accepted name: Rhododendron konori

Shrub to 2 m or so with few stems. Leaves mostly in whorls of 3-5 at the branch tips, mostly 10-20 cm long, 5-8 cm wide. Flowers mostly 5-8 per cluster, occasionally more, tubular at the base becoming funnel-like, white to variously pink. Stamens 12 or 14.
