Begonia boliviensis A.DC.

Stems annual, to 60 cm tall, branching and eventually arching over, covered with a white powdery film. Leaves lanceolate to 19 cm long, pronounced basal lobe, surface green, hairless; margins toothed. Flowers scarlet, petals lanceolate to 5 cm long.
