Begonia komoensis Irmsch.

Stems dark brown, thin and woody, sometimes branching. Leaves laceolate, very narrow, to 7 cm long, leathery; shiny, dark green surface, paler and shiny below with red main vein; margins entire. Flowers tiny, numerous, dark pink to red. Females have fusiform ovaries.
