Begonia diadema Linden

Stems rhizomatous, erect, to 50 cm tall; rhizome jointed at or below the surface, upright, zigzag. Leaves deeply lobed, 5 or more main lobes; bright green, silver spotted surface; margins toothed and with minor lobing. Flowers pink.
