Begonia parilis Irmsch.

Roots fibrous. Stems erect, to 1 m tall, many, thickly brown felted, succulent. Leaves lanceolate, to 13 cm long, upper surface green, glossy, hairless, pale green and brown-felted below; margins toothed. Flowers white in tight clusters.
