Begonia fernandoi-costae Irmsch.

Roots fibrous. Stems erect to 45 cm tall. Leaves broadly ovate to 19 cm long, green above, lighter below with faint pink blush; margins entire. Stems, leaves and petioles thickly covered with short, white, bristly hairs. Flowers white to pale pink, small tight clusters.
