Roots fibrous. Stems erect, to 45 cm tall. Leaves ovate, to 20 cm long, long-pointed, mid-green, semi-glossy hairless surface; lower leaves sometimes with faint silver spotting, pale green below; margins round-toothed. Flowers to 3 cm wide, bright orange.
