Sticky Thomasia

Shrub to over 0.5 m tall. Leaves to about 5 cm long, lobed at the base; stipules absent. Flowers with bracteoles above the middle of the flower stalk below the pinkish purple sticky calyx; spring.

T. grandiflora Lindl. also has strongly cordate to basally lobed leaves but it has distinct stipules.
