Thomasia foliosa J.Gay

Shrub to 1 m tall. Leaves to about 4 cm long but generally much shorter, more or less ovate in outline with wavy lobed margins; stipules small or absent. Flowers with bracteoles linear-elliptic below the white or pink to purple calyx; spring.

T. quercifolia (Andrews) J. Gay has similar leaves but they are more deeply lobed, at least some of the lobes reaching nearly to the midrib while T. macrocarpa Endl. has leaves with blades more than 2.5 cm long that also have wavy lobed margins.
