Hypericum ×moserianum André

(H. calycinum × H. patulum)

Small straggly evergreen shrub less than 1 m tall. Young shoots reddish. Leaves narrowly oblong-ovate, mostly 3-6 cm long. Flowers in clusters of 1-3, deep yellow, 5-6 cm wide. Sepals rather leaflike. Stamens about half as long as the petals; anthers reddish. Styles 5; summer.

Hypericum ×moserianum 'Tricolor'

Habit straggly, open; leaves white-variegated and with pink margins, flowers smaller. Originated Moser Nursery, Versailles, as a sport in 1891.
