Camellia transnokoensis Hayata

Shrub. Leaves elliptic, tapering to each end, 3-5 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, sometimes variegated. Bracts 3-4. Flowers shortly stalked. Petals 5-6. Stamens with outer filaments united shortly at the base. Ovary hairless.
