Camellia salicifolia Benth.

Shrub. Branchlets slender, long haired. Leaves narrow, lanceolate, tapering to a pointed tip, mostly hairy at first. Bracts 4-5, densely hairy on the back. Flowers white, petals 5-6 often with pointed lobes at the tips, mostly hairy on the back. Filaments fused into a tube for more than half their length, hairy. Ovary hairy. Capsule mostly 1-seeded.
