Common Chickweed

Annual to 50 cm tall but generally much smaller. Leaves ovate to 3 cm long, stalked at the base of the plant, sometimes hairy; basal leaves with hairy stalks.

Possibly S Europe

A cosmopolitan weed that is common in gardens.

A single line of hairs runs down the side of the stem.
